If we could sum up 2017 in one word, it would be momentum. Momentum moves all of us, whether we acknowledge it or not. Either you remain stuck, or you become inspired by the motion around you and move. It’s a key ingredient to any strategy. You have to be flexible, grow and go.
Drake Strategies started as an idea. What if we could harness our strengths and talents into a business? And what if we could work with the creative professionals around us to reach more people and tell even better stories? It was a risk, but every good story involves a cliffhanger.
What grew from a seed, spread into working with some of the best creatives around. The professionals that we partner with on projects are our biggest cheerleaders and we are theirs. The ripple effect of collaboration is one of our values and we are always excited to see where a project starts and how it ends.
As strategic thinkers, we believe that momentum not only applies to our business, but to everyone we work with. Empowering a team to implement a strategic plan requires time, effort and learning, but when the synergy happens it’s pretty amazing to step back and watch a team take over and do more good together.
As we reflect on this past year, the launch of our business, the projects we’ve been privileged to be part of, we are grateful. Even more, we are excited for what 2018 holds. It is often said that momentum leads to success - we’ve witnessed this firsthand with our clients - and that means 2018 will be filled with purpose.
Here’s to moving into the New Year with passion and purpose. Here’s to believing in that little voice telling you to dream bigger, inspiring you to create change and be a difference maker. Here’s to 2018.
